Fan Trailer Instigates The inquisitiveness quotient to a next level

The much awaited trailer of Shah Rukh Khan starrer film called Fan is finally out yesterday. With an initial teaser, everyone knew there are two SRKs in the film one is the Superstar Aryan Khanna and other an extraordinary fan of the superstar who resemble a lot to the star. So, SRK is playing a double role in the movie with a huge age gap. The fan is seen in the twenties, while the superstar is in the late forties. The plot of the film is very much clear and how an obsession of fan or Aryan Khanna compels him to do something out of the box annoying the superstar rejecting his love and passion for him.

You notice shades of grey when the Fan’s love and passion for the star is seen taking a creepy turn and trailer showcases the two sides of the fan first love and then hatred. This can remind you a similar kind of movie by Vikram Bhatt made in 1996 called Dastak wherein a fan of Sushmita Sen (played the superstar & miss universe) and Sharad Kapoor playing a fan’s role is obsessed making him to murderous twist. With the Fan, the SRK look in it has made the film interesting than the ones made earlier. It will impress you to see how Gaurav is seen transforming into Aryan Khanna. So, after two commercial dramas like Dilwale and Happy New Year, SRK is seen taking up something challenging and new.  With such characters, he has completed his full circle in B Town getting a negative role, which triggered his career around three decades before.

Well, the VFX effects of Fan can be called as one of the best works in B Town, Maneesh Sharma who has worked in movies like Band Baaja Baraat and Shuddh Desi Roamance, he is back with something challenging and different. With Fan, it can be called as a paradigm shift; so much of the credit goes to the director as well apart from SRK with films like these. Taking an overall picture of the trailer, the film seems to be a nice work and would work for SRK as he comes in twin roles. Secondly, the execution seems very much refreshing as you find him in both in Old Delhi to Croatia. Hopefully one can expect a good and a content rich film in a unique concept. Rating for the trailer can be certainly higher getting 4 out of 5.
