For the Hina Khan debut film called Hacked, the film went unnoticed at the box office. It would be fair to say that the film had a tough competition with Malang and Shikara also releasing on the same day. Although Hina Khan is a known figure in the small screen industry, she with her debut in silver screen did not help the film to garner a good buzz around it. However, the content, story and script of the film had the power to attract. Yet the experts felt that it is too an advanced subject which may attract a section of society.
People with a liking for technology would be attracted and the same happened to it. Also, the mixed review and the less promotion for the film did the rest of the damage. Yet it would be fair to say the film did well at the box office with all its low or negative points. The film talks about a 19-year-old young hacker who is obsessed with a married professional called Sam.
His obsession then leads him to turn against the lady to screw her life by hacking everything right from her social media accounts to her mails and other things. Well, now talking about the collection, the first day the collection was 1 crore, which was followed by 2 and 2.5 Crores respectively. With these figures, the 1st-weekend box office collection went to around 6.5 Crores, which is a decent figure for sure. Well, let’s see how things would move but at the moment it’s an okay figure to celebrate.
