Does Neena Gupta Still Regrets having her daughter outside her marriage?
It was a bold decision of Neena Gupta around two decades before when she had a daughter Masaba with former West Indies cricketer Viv Richards going outside her marriage and doing things single-handedly on her own. Since then it was a roller coaster ride for the lady as she had a tough time bringing out the child. But she never gave up her liberal thoughts and making women empowered from the rituals. The former cricketer was already married when she met him and had the child.
She rose the daughter on her own trying to set up an example and later in 2008 she got married to a Delhi based CA called Vivek Mishra. She left no stone unturned to bring out her child and she was seen talking about her experience to a local media. While talking about the same she said that she has remained always hones to her daughter and hence her relations with her have never hampered. However, she said that she has to suffer a lot.
When asked about her daughter missing her father, she said it was selfish on her part to keep away her daughter from her father. She added saying that it makes her feel sad when she sees her daughter feel lonely. But being her mother, she never felt about the same. She also said at times she regrets about her decision that made her daughter suffer but she has tried to give the best to her even though her life was never the best of roses. Well, talking about her work, she will be seen with Ayushamman Khurrana with her film Subh Mangalam Zyada Savdhan this year.
