Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety & Welcome To New York 1st weekend box office collection
Last Friday we had two big films releasing the same day the Luv Ranjan’s romantic comedy film called Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety while the other called Welcome to New York. Now, let’s talk about the former first. SKTKS has Kartik Aaryan, Nushrata Bharucha and Sunny Singh were seen in the lead roles. As per reports, the film in the first two days had similar collection of average around 4.7 crore each (though it earned higher on the first day), while it went on adding to give the total collection of 9.34 crore in the first two days. We then saw some signs of growing up when the collection reached to a bit of higher amount though cannot be called that significant either.
As per the reports, the first weekend box office collection for the film Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety tolled to around 15.76 crore, which is a decent amount for sure. The film then earlier opened up with the collection of around 6.42 crore, while on the second day it 3 crore. The film has already beaten up the other film releasing the same day called Welcome to New York, which happens to be a multiple actor film. The film Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety is produced by Luv Films and T-Series, which has finally hit the theatres last Friday.
Now, let’s talk about the other film called Welcome to New York which has Sonakshi Sinha and Diljit Dosanjh in the lead roles. The film is directed by Chakri Toleti and it has been in a bad shape right from the day considering the collection of the film. As per reports, the film Welcome to New York reached to around INR 75 lakhs on the first day while the its competitor Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety to see the collection reaching to INR 6 crore. As per reports, the first weekend box office collection for Welcome to New York has been around 4.25 crore, which is likely to increase in a big way.
