Deepika Singh is an Indian actress and hails from Delhi. She was born on 26th July 1989 in Delhi and was brought at this place. She did her schooling and college from Delhi and later completed her MBA in Marketing from Punjab Technical University. She was interested in acting and did her debut in small screen with the TV show called Diya Aur Baati Hum where she played the character called Sandhya Rathi which hit the TV channel Star Plus in August 2011. She then got another TV show called Zindagi Ka Rang Hai Gulalal. She participated in TV shows like Nach Baliye 5 and 6.
She then was seen in Box Cricket League aired at Sony TV in the year 2014. The same year she got the TV show on Sony TV called Yeh Hai Mohabbatien. Some of her popular TV shows include Tu Mere Hero, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Tu Sooraj, Main Saanjh Piyaji where she had the cameo of her popular role called Sandhya. She then was seen in Kitchen Champion 5 as Contestant, which was aired at Colors TV with Antara Biswas.
Talking about awards, she was awarded at a number of award functions which include Best Actress Popular for Sandhya Rathi role from the TV show Diya Aur Baati Hum. Again she was nominated for the same TV show at Zee Gold Awards where she bagged the Best Actress female. She bagged the Big Star Young Entertainer Award for Diya Aur Baati Hum at Lions Gold Awards. In 2012, she bagged the Best Jodi award for Sandhya Rathi for the TV show called Diya Aur Baati Hum.
She bagged Hira Manek Awards for the same year in the TV show called Diya Aur Baati Hum as the Best TV Actress followed by Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards India, Indian Television Academy Awards and Desh Ki Dhakan for the same. She is currently doing the TV show called Kavach… MahaShivratri. Talking about her personal life, she got married to the director of the TV show that made her popular in 2014 while the couple has a baby as well.
