An FIR has been lodged against The Kapil Sharma Show for THIS reason

The producers of the Kapil Sharma Show are now facing charges after a FIR was filed against them at the district court of Shivpuri, Madhya Pradesh. The lawsuit was brought in response to an episode of the Sony television show in which the performers were seen drinking on stage while simulating a courtroom scenario. The actors, according to the complainant, humiliated the court.

The lawyer from Shivpuri has filed an FIR in the CJM Court. The case will be heard on October 1. The lawyer said, “The Kapil Sharma Show aired on Sony TV is very sloppy. They also make lewd comments on women. In one of the episodes, a court was set up on the stage and the actors were seen drinking alcohol in public. This is contempt of court. That’s why I have demanded registration of FIR against the culprits under Section 356/3 in the court. Such display of sloppiness should be stopped.”

The case concerned an episode that was aired on January 19, 2020, and was re-aired on April 24, 2021. The lawyer alleges that in the episode, a character is seen in a courtroom set under the influence of alcohol. This, he claims, has plunged the court into disrepute.

Comedian Kapil Sharma hosts The Kapil Sharma Show. Sumona Chakravarti, Bharti Singh, Krushna Abhishek, Sudesh Lehri, and Archana Singh star alongside Kapil in the episode. On August 21, TKSS returned to television screens after an almost seven-month hiatus.
