Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2 Invests Rs 60 Cr in a 6-Minute Scene; OTT Rights Fetch Rs 100 Cr: Report

Allu Arjun is currently engrossed in the final stages of filming for the highly anticipated ‘Pushpa 2’. Directed by Sukumar, this film is slated for release this year and promises to be a grand cinematic experience. While the details of the storyline are being closely guarded, insiders have revealed that a lavish six-minute scene was shot, costing a staggering Rs 60 crore and taking 30 days to complete. This scene reportedly features a captivating Gangamma Jatara performance intertwined with an intense fight sequence.

In addition, it has been reported that ‘Pushpa 2’ boasts a massive budget of Rs 500 crore. The film has already sold its worldwide music rights and Hindi satellite rights to T-Series for a whopping Rs 60 crore. Telugu satellite rights have been acquired by Star Maa, although the exact amount remains undisclosed. Furthermore, Netflix has reportedly acquired the digital streaming rights for a staggering Rs 100 crore. However, these claims are yet to be officially confirmed by the makers of the film.

Recently, on the occasion of Allu Arjun’s birthday, fans were treated to the first teaser of ‘Pushpa 2’. Sharing the teaser on X, Allu Arjun expressed his gratitude for the birthday wishes and requested fans to view the teaser as his way of saying thank you.

Last year, Allu Arjun’s striking first-look poster for ‘Pushpa 2’ created a buzz as he appeared in a saree with his face adorned in captivating shades of blue and red. Later, the look poster of Fahadh Faasil, who also features in the movie, was unveiled. Additionally, on the occasion of Rashmika’s birthday this month, the makers released her first look from the film, further heightening the excitement surrounding ‘Pushpa 2’. There have been reports suggesting that Sanjay Dutt will also make a special appearance in the film, although no official confirmation has been made at this time.
