Lathi Charge at Lucknow Event: Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff’s ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan,’ Witness the Chaos

Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, Manushi Chillar, and Alaya F recently concluded the extensive shooting schedule in Jordan for their upcoming film, “Bade Miyan Chote Miyan.” The actors filmed four songs in Jordan, including one featuring a special appearance by Sonakshi Sinha. The movie’s title track was unveiled on February 19, 2024, marking the commencement of its promotions.

The film’s promotional event in Lucknow featured live-action stunts to enthrall the audience. However, the event took an unexpected turn when the crowd became uncontrollable, leading to the intervention of the police, who resorted to lathi charge to maintain order.

Videos of the incident circulated widely, showing the UP Police using lathi charge to disperse the unruly crowd, as individuals allegedly threw footwear, and a potential stampede loomed. Although Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff remained at a safe distance from the commotion, viral footage suggested that the crowd’s behavior turned chaotic after receiving merchandise thrown by the stars.

Anand Krishna, a representative of the PR company that organized the event, stated, “Fans made a scramble to catch the items that were thrown towards them, which broke the barricades that were supposed to hold them back.” Additionally, a person involved in the event mentioned that the actors left the show prematurely, well before the scheduled conclusion.

Filmed across captivating locations such as Mumbai, London, Abu Dhabi, Scotland, and Jordan, “Bade Miyan Chote Miyan” features Prithviraj Sukumaran in an intriguing villainous role.

Presented by Vashu Bhagnani and Pooja Entertainment in association with AAZ Films, the film is written and directed by Ali Abbas Zafar. It is produced by Vashu Bhagnani, Deepshikha Deshmukh, Jackky Bhagnani, Himanshu Kishan Mehra, and Ali Abbas Zafar. “Bade Miyan Chote Miyan” is set to release on Eid 2024 in April.
