‘Tough Hour For Me And My Family’ Says Akshay Kumar, sharing an update on her mother’s health

Superstar Akshay Kumar’s mother Aruna Bhatia has been admitted to Mumbai’s Hiranandani Hospital on Friday. The actor was in London at the time; he rushed back to India and now shares an update on his social media.

Akshay Kumar flew to the UK to shoot for his next project. He reached Mumbai in wee hours of Monday, September 6, from UK to be with his mother. The social media was buzzing with ‘get well soon’ messages and trends for Akshay’s mother.

The actor just took to his social media and shared, “Touched beyond words at your concern for my mom’s health. This is a very tough hour for me and my family. Every single prayer of yours would greatly help”

We hope and pray that Akshay’s mother finds full recovery soon!

Meanwhile on the work front, Akshay Kumar has a series of films lined-up for releases, starting with Sooryavanshi, Raksha Bandhan, Atrangi Re, Ram Setu, Bachchan Pandey, Prithviraj and more.

Prithviraj is helmed by Chandraprakash Dwivedi and produced by Yash Raj Films, the film is based on life of Prithviraj Chauhan. It features Akshay Kumar as Prithviraj Chauhan, while Manushi Chhillar makes her Hindi film debut by playing his beloved wife Sanyogita.

The film also stars Sanjay Dutt, Sonu Sood, Ashutosh Rana, Sakshi Tanwar, Manav Vij and Lalit Tiwari in other important characters. The film is based on Prithviraj Raso, a Braj Bhasha epic poem about the life of Prithviraj Chauhan. It is slated for Diwali release.
