SPY Teaser: Nikhil Siddharth tries to uncover the mystery behind Subhash Chandra Bose’s death in this action-packed espionage thriller

The death of India’s freedom fighter and founder of the Azad Hind Army is one of the country’s most intriguing stories, with numerous unanswered mysteries. Many people still suspect he did not die in the unintentional plane crash, making this the ideal subject for an espionage thriller film.

And now after the successful thriller Karthikeya 2, Nikhil Siddharth is back to unravel this mystery behind Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose’s death in the upcoming spy thriller ‘SPY’. The teaser for SPY was revealed on social media today, and it immediately gets your attention with its well-cut action set pieces and some thrilling moments.

The brief teaser begins with a guy played by Makarand Deshpande narrating a mystery surrounding Netaji Subhash’s death in a plane crash. His discourse is intermingled with the set pieces of Siddharth’s action. The preview makes it apparent that the film was shot lavishly in numerous international locations and that there would be a variety of action, ranging from hand-to-hand fights to car and foot chases and gunfire. Iswarya Menon, Sanya Thakur, and Abhinav Gomatam play important roles in the film as well. If makers pay enough attention to the film’s promotion, the film has potential to become yet another pan-Indian superhit.

‘SPY’ is helmed by editor turned director Garry BH who is making his directorial debut with this film. K Raja Shekhar Reddy is the writer and producer for the film under the banner of ED Entertainment. Vamsi Patchipulusu and Mark David are the cinematographers for ‘SPY’. SPY is set to hit the theatres on 29 June across the globe in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam languages, which means, it’s Hindi dubbed version will have to clash with Ajay Devgn’s most awaited biographical sports drama film ‘Maidaan’ which is also set release on 29 June.
