Model Kamal Cheema Speaks About How She Got A Break, Spills The Beans About Her Upcoming Book
Modelling is a vast field and it is rightly called as one of the most celebrated professions of the world. While there are models all over the world, many Indian models have made a name for themselves overseas. Kamal Cheema also established her name on an international level when she won International Supermodel 2019 on September 24, 2019, in Thailand. The model is basically from Chandigarh but later she shifted to Mumbai in 2014 considering the more opportunities for modelling in the city of dreams. However, the initial days of her career were not easy as she did not get work instantly.
“Being patient is the key to sustain in the modelling world. Things don’t happen overnight and everyone has a struggling phase but very few get the break. I am fortunate that I made my mark in the modelling world”, said Cheema. A well-trained actor, she has attended many workshops and has mastered the art and craft of theatre as well. She is very keen on working in South films and she wishes to play realistic yet action-packed roles. When asked about her favourite actors, she instantly said Salman Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Prabhas and Sushant Singh Rajput.
As far as the actresses are concerned, her favourite picks are Deepika Padukone, Priyanka Chopra and Anushka Shetty. Kamal is very interested in the digital space and wants to work in a web series in the future. Besides this, she also revealed that she played Golf at the state level and she got coaching from Army Golf Academy. Currently, she is busy publishing her first-ever book which is based on the lives of a mother, a woman, a girl, a sister and a daughter. The name of the book is ‘A mother to a child’ which she will launch on May 27, 2020.
