Divya Khosla Kumar, who is no more a unpopular name in B Town claims to call herself talented than a pretty face. This is the reason, you would find her hiding her gorgeous looks behind her specs. Known to be simple, strong and sensitive, she is a known director, producer and actor of Bollywood who loves to be pampered by her husband Bhusan Kumar the owner and Managing Director of T Series Cassettes. The couple has a two-year son called Ruhan. She was born and brought in New Delhi to a non film background parents. After her B Com Honours, she started doing modelling for print media and then headed to Mumbai on her mom’s advice to make her dreams comes true for entering in the modelling world.

After doing her course in Editing and Cinematography, she entered into the Bollywood world with the movie called Ab Tumhare Hawale Watan Sathiyo in 2004, directed by Anil Sharma while was produced by Akshay Kumar. It was a multi-starrer movie with stars like Big B, Akshay Kumar, Divya K Kumar, Bobby Deol, Nagma, etc. The movie was a big hit, however, didn’t gave her much in the B Town. The very same year, she got the chance to work in a Telugu movie called Love Today. However, after one year, she got married to Bhushan Kumar. Al though the actress said that she had many dreams to pursue while migrating to Mumbai and working in Bollywood, however, she got married to shelve her dreams.

However, after her marriage, Divya Khosla Kumar got the chance to direct a couple of music videos for Agam Nigam, Tulsi Kumar and Jermaine Jackson along with directing a couple of ad films as well. in her career, she has directed more than 20 music videos, which finally gave her the chance to strike her directorial venture called Yaariyan in the year 2014. Apart from directing the movie starring Himanshu Kohli and Nicole Faria, she choreographed all the five songs in the movie including Maa, Baarish, Allah Wariya, Zor Lagake, etc. Her background of directing music videos helped her a lot. The movie had a mixed review, which helped her carve her niche in direction. Currently, she is currently directing Roy, which is all set to hit the theatres in February 2015. The movie has Ranbir Kapoor, Jacqueline Fernandez and Arjun Rampal in the lead roles.
