Last Friday, the film released called Rocky Handsome had its fair share over the box office. Being the solo release, the film did a decent business after the end of the first weekend though it was affected a bit by the T-20 Match yesterday of India and Australia and the Hollywood flick called Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice and even the Karan Johar film called Kapoor And Sons. Â The long list of Holiday starting from Friday as Goods Friday and the weekend leaves benefitted the film the best, however, the evening shows of Sunday were brutally disturbed due to the India Vs. Australia match, yet it performed decently.
As per reports, the first weekend box office collection of Rocky Handsome tolled to around 15 crores, which is actually a good figure for the film, which has received a mixed review and one a couple of hurdles as well before it. Â Though the film suffered in terms of content but the firebrand and heated up action of the film has been really well applauded by the audience giving a decent amount of Moolah for the single screens and even at the interiors.
On the other side, Kapoor & Sons was seen having a good run making 12.09 in its second weekend tolling to around 59.02 crores in just ten days and is all set to be the superhit very soon. It would rather be a cool stay over the multiplexes right in the entire week and bring in moolah for it. The film is likely to get a decent earning soon with figure reaching to 70 crores by the end of the second week itself. Now, as the film enters into the weekdays, let’s see how the collection goes ahead during the usual days.
