Alia Bhatt starrer Gangubai Kathiawadi trailer has just released a few days ago and it is just amazing. Well, till now we had mentioned Ajay Devgn, Vijay Raaz, Jim Sarbh and Shantananu Maheshwari in the cast of the film. But now it has revealed one more name which will be portraying a potential character in the film. In Gangubai Kathiawadi, we will also see Huma Qureshi, her character has not yet been revealed, but during an interview, the actress opened up about it.
Huma said, “I am so excited as this is one of the busiest months that I am going to have. On one hand, my web series ‘Mithya’ is releasing and on the other hand, I am making a special appearance in Sanjay sir’s ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’.”
“I am looking forward to that. Also, I am very excited about ‘Valimai’ that’s a special film,” she added.
Talking about Gangubai Kathiawadi based on S. Hussain Zaidi’s book “Mafia Queens of Mumbai” the film is directed by non-other than Bollywood’s ace filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Produced by SLB’s Bhansali Productions and Jayantilal Gada’s Pen India Limited, Gangubai Kathiawadi will release in theatres on 25 February 2022.
Meanwhile, Huma was last seen in Akshay Kumar starrer Bell Bottom under the Pooja Entertainment banner. The actress also has a Tamil action thriller ‘Valimai’ directed by H. Vinoth in her kitty which is still in the post-production process.
