The trailer got thumbs up when it was released a few days ago and several celebrities praised the actress for her impeccable performance in the movie. Alia’s character in the movie is different from all her past roles as she likes to experiment with every new project. 

Besides acting, the actor is also producing this movie. Well, times change like flowing air and after receiving praises from everyone, the actress is getting trolled by netizens for all the wrong reasons.  The hashtag #boycottaliabhatt is currently trending on the internet. From what we know, netizens feel that the actress is promoting violence against men in her soon-to-release film ‘Darlings’. Users are comparing Alia Bhatt with Amber Heard and Vijay Varma with Johnny Depp of Hollywood.

Recently, Aamir Khan, Kareena Kapoor, and Naga Chaitanya‘s Laal Singh Chaddha and Akshay Kumar’s Rakshabandhan made headlines due to boycott trends. Alia Bhatt’s Darlings is the newest addition to this boycott culture.
