TEDx Talk has always offered community-driven and unbiased content to the viewers, where people from different fields speak up. The Loveyatri actor Aayush Sharma has opened up about the trolling he faces in a TEDx talk.
“Hey, He is Salman Khan’s brother-in-law…He is Arpita Khan’s husband, right?” Despite his four years in Bollywood, Aayush Sharma is recognized in this way. The actor himself revealed this. He said that his life has changed after marrying Arpita. Earlier, nobody was bothered even about his social media posts, but after his marriage, he gets trolled for almost everything.
He said, “The very next day after my wedding, the first thing I noticed is that my wife and I are being trolled for getting married. Some people on social media were commenting on our pictures saying that I got married for money. Some started saying that I married Arpita to become an actor. At the same time, some started calling me a Delhi businessman, which I never was.”
In TEDx Talk Aayush Sharma revealed how it impacts her mental well-being and belief. He said, “I lost my confidence because of constant trolling. People judged my performance in my films and even named me a ‘white dog’. I got a huge dowry from my wedding Arpita and many other things were said. People even called me the brother-in-law of the Khan family and the aftermath of nepotism, but I am not a star kid. I am at the wrong place at the wrong time.”
For the unversed, Aayush Sharma has appeared in two films – ‘Loveyatri’ and ‘Antim’ so far. Both films were produced by Salman Khan Films. Not many people would know that Aayush used to give auditions to get work in the industry, be it in commercials, TV shows or movies. He has also worked as a background dancer in Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone starrer Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani.
