Here is why you should consume fats first thing in the morning

What one eats can influence the rest of one’s day. The majority of people begin their day with carbs and coffee. While this may provide an initial boost, the energy quickly depletes. Eating carbohydrates can cause your blood sugar levels to rise and fall quickly, leaving you hungry long before lunch and causing you to eat anything and everything in sight. Replacing carbohydrates with healthy fats not only stabilizes blood sugar levels but also reduces unhealthy cravings. It also increases nutrient absorption, which is beneficial to your overall health.

To begin, one simple fact about fat in the morning is that 1 gramme of fat contains 9 calories, whereas 1 gramme of carbohydrate or protein contains only 4 calories; thus, fat will logically keep us feeling fuller for longer.

Because carbs’ primary function is to raise blood sugar levels, when you start with carbs, your blood sugar levels quickly rise and fall, leaving you hungry and craving your next meal.

A healthy fat, on the other hand, helps you maintain better control of your blood sugar levels. There is no increase in blood glucose because there is no carbohydrate present. It also helps with insulin resistance. Helps to increase vitamin absorption. Finally, we’ll work on improving our overall gut health. Healthy fat meals are also lower in lactose and casein, the two primary proteins responsible for indigestion in the small intestine, than conventional dairy products. Constipation is also eliminated by eating fat first, as is hormonal control in the body due to the presence of Omega-3 fatty acids and saturated healthy fats.

Many of us draw broad conclusions when we hear the term “FAT.” Many websites describe and discuss fat as if it were all the same, despite the fact that each fat has a distinct role to play. To provide our bodies with energy, we must understand and apply the concept of healthy fat vs. unhealthy fat. Yes, there are many different types of fats, including saturated, unsaturated, monounsaturated, and polyunsaturated fats, each with its own function. Any fat found in nature, such as cold pressed seed oils, nuts, eggs, whole milk, and avocados, is a healthy fat (as an exception). Any fat that has been commercially manufactured, hydrogenated, or refined from crude oil, on the other hand, is unhealthy due to the numerous poisons and chemicals required to refine and commercialise it.

Because we are all unique in our own ways, let us seek the equilibrium and balance required to maintain our health, happiness, and vitality.’ It may be difficult and perplexing at first, but we can’t expect to achieve different results if we keep doing the same old things, don’t you think?

Thus, while eliminating carbs and replacing them with healthy fats may be difficult at first, you will begin to enjoy this morning ritual after 4-6 days.

Always start slowly and gradually increase the intensity to meet the needs of your body. Begin with 1 teaspoon of healthy fat and work your way up to 1 tbsp after a month. Any morning ritual that you can stick to for 21 days will quickly become a habit. Set aside some mental space first thing in the morning to kick-start your “Healthy Fat.”
