Ali Abbas Zafar’s Thriller Bloody Daddy Starring Shahid Kapoor To Directly Release On OTT

Shahid Kapoor and Ali Abbas Zafar collaborated on an action thriller in November of last year. The movie, rumored to be called Bloody Daddy, is a remake of the popular French film Nuit Blanche. There is a new development regarding the action-thriller.

Bloody Daddy, Shahid and Ali’s first collaboration, won’t have a theatrical release. On Voot Select, it will be immediately released. According to reports, the expensive action-thriller will be available for digital streaming in the last quarter of 2022. We’re anticipating a formal announcement from the creators.

Nuit Blanche, which means Sleepless Night in English, revolved around a man who’s trying to rescue his abducted child from the mafia. The team shot for the film in Abu Dhabi last year. Sharing a picture from the set with Shahid, Ali wrote, “Let’s get this started @shahidkapoor are you ready for a crazy, quirky, mad ride of guns & gangs (sic).”

As per a source quote on Bollywood Hungama, “The action saga has Shahid playing a father who tries to save his child and involves a lot of blood and gore, so the title suits the film. It’s a tentative working title but in all probabilities, this would be the title they lock.”

Shahid Kapoor was most recently seen in Jersey, which came out in April of this year. Farzi by Raj & DK on Amazon Prime Video will be his first online series. On the other hand, Ali will be in charge of Bade Miyan, which stars Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff. Katrina Kaif and Chote Miyan in a franchise featuring female superheroes.
