Plot
The film Thackeray happens to be a biographical film, which is based on the life of the founder and party supremo of Shiv Sena called Bal Thackeray. It has shown his political life of this man and then he has dealt with different issues apart from showcasing the controversies he has wrecked on in the city of Mumbai and also in the state.
Review
Making biopic movies based on the life of famous personalities have become the new norm in B Town. Thackeray is an attempt to make another, however, this time we have a party key position holder doing it, which is primarily for two reasons to glorify his leader and secondly to pay tribute to him. The film’s storyline has no difference to what we have seen in the life of this man. The man who proclaimed himself a tiger and known for his tough words have ruled the city and even the state in his own style. He ruled every industry and even came in power to make government in the state.
The film showcases his political life in the city and the role he has played in erupting different issues in the city. One thing that comes out to be the most interesting aspect was the stellar performance of the actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui, who has done an incredible job playing the lead role in it. He with his powerful and incredible acting skills has overshadowed everyone even Amrita Rao to a great extent. He has once again proved that come what may in his life, but he has the power and knack to perform the best of the performance. The other elements like music, screenplay and other elements are good and somewhere helped to boost up the entertainment value of the movie.

The film Thackeray has much to say when it comes to a political leader who talked about his men, language and culture. The stellar performance of Nawaz is something worthy to catch in it.
