Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has come under really sharp criticism coming right from the Pakistan Army’s side as he shared the trailer of his new Netflix series ‘Bard of Blood’ on Twitter.

Soon after the Indian actor Shah Rukh Khan shared the trailer from his Netflix espionage series Bard of Blood on Twitter, he has received an advice from a really unexpected corner.  DG ISPR Major General Asif Ghafoor has re-tweeted on Shah Rukh Khan’s tweet, hitting him on by tagging him along. Tweeting on the same, Major General Asif Ghafoor mentioned that Shah Rukh Khan should rather “promote peace” and speak against the “atrocities in Jammu and Kashmir”.

The tweet read, “Stay in Bollywood syndrome @iamsrk. For reality see RAW Spy Kulbhushan Jadev, Wing Comd Abhinandan & state of 27 Feb 2019. You could rather promote peace & humanity by speaking against atrocities in IOJ&K and against Hindituva of Nazism obsessed RSS. (sic).”

The Pakistan Army Major General Asif Ghafoor has slammed Khan for producing this series. Ghafoor represents as the chief spokesperson for the Pakistan’s armed forces.

The upcoming Netflix series is based on a book with the same name by Bilal Siddiqi. The trailer shared by SRK begins in Balochistan (a province in Pakistan), showing Indian spies captured and about to be decapitated before they could relay a vital information to India. Former spy Kabir Anand (played by Emraan Hashmi) is called by the PMO to go to Balochistan for conducting a rescue mission along with Isha (Sobhita Dhulipala) and Veer (Vineet Kumar Singh). Further follows a thrilling journey of these three spies tariling ahead on a rescue-cum-suicide mission to Balochistan.

Ghafoor’s attack on Khan has come up at the time when relations between the two countries are stirred as a result of the revoked Jammu and Kashmir’s special status and bifurcated stature into forming the new two Union Territories.
