Ameesha Patel did her debut in B Town with the film Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai opposite Hrithik Roshan who also started his innings in the B Town. The film has completed two decades in Hindi Cinema this Jan 14. This film came two overnight sensation, Hrithik Roshan and Ameesha Patel. Since then it was no looking back for the two. However, Hrithik has to face some flops, but Ameesha took a smooth ride up.
Well, she still remembers her debut movie. While talking about her debut she said at that point in time she was called a very studios girl who has topped Boston University doing her master’s in Economics. But as she got her break in Bollywood, it changed her life dramatically. She remembers how she bagged this role. While she was at one of the wedding party and Rakesh Roshan saw her who discussed the film Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai saying that he is planning it soon.
She said she was not supposed to be on the party but as her mother was not feeling well, she had to go as a replacement and then Rakesh Roshan saw her. The next is history she said as she bagged the role. She further said that her father and Rakesh Roshan had studied in school together and they have been friends. Further, she added that she called for a lunch at Rakesh Roshan’s place and offered the role to her. The very other day she reached the sets to start the shoot. She recalls saying that the party is not less than a magic to her.
