Box Office Update: Check out the detailed collections of Ranveer Singh’s 83!

83, starring Ranveer Singh, has been in the headlines for a long time, and it finally opened theatres yesterday. The film has had a great response thus far, as expected, and its box office results reflect this.

The sports biographical drama based on the Indian cricket team’s journey and victory in the 1983 World Cup has generated a lot of hype. It took a while to get here, but it’s finally here. The film has received a lot of praise, from the acting to Kabir Khan’s direction, which has helped it get a fantastic start at the box office.

According to early reports, 83 generated a collection of 13-15 crores on day one. Given the competition in the form of Spider-Man: No Way Home and Allu Arjun’s Pushpa, which is doing exceptionally well in Hindi, it’s actually a good start. The figures match what we projected in our box office forecast.

83 works mostly in multiplexes, with single screens receiving lower-than-average replies. Pushpa has a stronghold on single screens. The film is projected to increase today due to strong word of mouth, but there are obstacles such as omicron cases, a cold wave, and more. Let’s see how the movie handles it all.

Meanwhile, Deepika Padukone, who also plays Romi Dev, the wife of the 83 World Cup-winning team’s captain Kapil Dev, visited the Siddhivinayak Temple in Mumbai before of the film’s premiere.

Lord Ganesha’s blessings were sought for the highly awaited film. Deepika was led to the temple in ethnic traditional garb amid heavy security. Prior to the premiere of her flicks, the actress makes it a point to pay a visit to the venerated shrine. It wasn’t any different this time, either.
