Is Deepika Padukone to Play the lead in PV Sindhu Biopic?
When the popular Badminton player from India PV Sindhu made history by getting gold for the country in the recently held tournament, little did she knew that she is on the verge to see herself on the big screen. She was the first lady player to achieve this feat, giving the filmmakers all the reason to make a biopic on her life. So, when the makers announced a biopic not many were surprised to see the same.
However, there seems to be trouble in getting the leading actress for the same this is where PV Sindhu has an idea for getting the diva to play her role on the silver screen. In her recent interview, she said she wants Deepika Padukone to play her character on the silver screen. While talking about the same she said this is just her views while the makers are going to take the final decision on the same.
While talking about Deepika’s choice she said that since the diva happens to be the daughter of Prakash Padukone who was a global badminton player, while she has even represented the country in this domain at the national level, she would play the character very well. Meanwhile, Sonu Sood would be playing the role of the coach in the film. He has expressed his desire long back when she had won the silver medal in Rio Olympics.
