The trailer of Rajkummar Rao & Bhumi Pednekar’s Badhaai Do has everything you need for a great family comedy!

Badhaai Do, a sequel to Badhaai Ho, is another success for Junglee Pictures. The film’s directors have brought the powerful stars Rajkummar Rao and Bhumi Pednekar together on the big screen for the first time, and it’s safe to say that they’ll be one of the most loved couples, as their chemistry in the trailer shows.

The creators of Badhaai Do released the first look and motion poster of their starring duo Rajkummar and Bhumi yesterday, generating a lot of buzz among moviegoers and critics alike.

Badhaai Do promises to be as hilarious as Badhaai Ho in terms of finding hilarity in unexpected places. While Badhaai Ho showed us how a middle-aged couple’s love may lead to some humorous events, Badhaai Do appears to be tackling another such odd relationship and telling their narrative through comedy of errors situations. Of course, there’s a baby where there’s marriage and comedy.

The trailer revolves around a marital setting between Rajkummar and Bhumi, only to know that there are a lot of secrets between these two to unfold. Getting into a marriage of convenience and living as roommates, is what leads to humorous situations between the pair, making this one a perfect family entertainer. It is not only high on comedy and emotions, but this family drama also deals with a socially relevant subject, that we got a glimpse of in the trailer. While not much has been revealed, the topic of the film subtly highlights the concept of “lavender marriage” making it a must watch.

Harshavardhan Kulkarni’s film is one of the most widely anticipated family entertainers to hit theatres this year. In addition to Rajkummar and Bhumi, the family entertainer features an ensemble cast that includes Seema Pahwa, Sheeba Chadha, Chum Darang, Lovleen Mishra, Nitish Pandey, and Shashi Bhushan, among others, who play crucial parts and propel the storey along.

With Zee Music as its music label, the film is sure to deliver some chart-topping hits, as evidenced by the songs in the trailer, which were written by Amit Trivedi, Tanishk Bagchi, Ankit Tiwari, and Khamosh Shah. Varun Grover, Vayu, Anurag Bhumia, Azeem Shirazi, and Anvita Dutt wrote the lyrics.

Harshavardhan Kulkarni directs the Junglee Pictures film ‘Badhaai Do,’ which was written by Akshat Ghildial and Suman Adhikary.

Badhaai Do will be released in theatres on February 11th, and Zee Studios will distribute it internationally.
