Salman Khan Faces Accusations of Dishonesty Regarding Saif Ali Khan & Chandrachur Singh’s Decision to Decline ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’; Strong Rebuttal Follows

Salman Khan’s character “Aman” in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai is one of the most beloved characters in Bollywood, and it will always be that way. However, many people don’t know that several actors rejected the role because of its short screen time and other reasons. But it was Salman who decided to take on the role and make a lasting impression on everyone’s hearts. A video recently went viral in which the Tiger 3 star talks about how Chandrachur Singh and Saif Ali Khan rejected the role before he finally took it on.

Karan Johar tells Salman Khan: “I remember the first time I narrated my first film to you. Saif and Chandrachur had rejected the role, but you told me to come and meet you tomorrow because no one was going to do your role.”A Reddit user recently shared a screenshot of Chandrachur Singh’s alleged comment on a video of Salman Khan talking about how Singh had rejected the role of Aman in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai.

In the comment, Singh wrote, “Salman Ka Jhoot” (Salman’s lie). When a fan asked him to clarify, he replied, “Mere pass Josh, Daag: The Fire, Kya Kehna, Silsila Pyaar Ka etc tha. I made a choice.” (I had Josh, Daag: The Fire, Kya Kehna, Silsila Pyaar Ka, etc. I made a choice.)

However, when we dug deep to find out about the video and the comment, we couldn’t find his comment. This makes us wonder if he deleted the comment. Meanwhile, reacting to Chandrachur Singh calling Salman Khan ‘Jhoota’, Redditors opined for their same. Comment on it a user wrote, “Deserves a beating??! Nepotism?!! Kya bakk raha hai. He was offered a role which he rejected what is he going on about. Sour grapes!”

While another said, “Salman said ” Saif and Chandrachur were doing nothing”. This doesn’t mean that they had zero movies at that time, it means that their Career graph was not that impressive at that time (kind of meh).”
