Mirzapur 2: Call for Boycott the second season due to Ali Fazal, Check the Reason
As the new season of the web series Mirzapur 2 trailer hit the social media, it turned an instant hit. People liked it and many even welcomed it with their own swag. But it seems that a fringe group on social media is not liking it and the reason they give is Ali Fazal. They claim that the leading man of the show has been the part of the violent anti CAA protests, which led to the communal riots in Northeast Delhi.
At that time, the actor was seen posting a tweet on the riots and they claim that he even was seen enjoying the same. However, he deleted the tweet and same was the case with Vikrant Massey who also remained a part of the protest. Thus the said section of people on social media feel that the two actors have gone against the country and watching their show would be giving undue importance to them. This made the hashtag – Boycott Mirzapur 2 in the microblogging site. Check the reactions:
