In a recent session court of Thursday, Ankit Tiwari, famous singer of Aashiqui 2 song Sun raha hai na tu got bail. The singer was earlier arrested for allegedly raping his ex-girlfreind. The accused women in a police statement provided the information that she is married and also has a child. However women said that Tiwari was behind her and wanted to maintain their sexual relationship.
Ankit Tiwari aged 24 was earlier arrested in same month by the suburban police. Police took action on filed complaint and FIR by Tiwari’s one time girlfriend. The girlfriend in her complaint has registered the fact that the playback singer Tiwari raped her repeatedly from October 2012 till December 2013 after promising every time that he will marry the women. However the singer broke his promise and kept ignoring the promised statement.
On court session proceedings on the case Judge VM Mohite charged Tiwari Rs 20,000 in cash for his case and bail application. Tiwari on the other hand after getting bail confronted media. In his media statement, Tiwari said that he has been falsely accused and said that women is a complete liar. He said that there are many contradictions in the statement that has been provided by the women. Police also told media, further investigation will be done in case so the justice could be done right.
Later that day on women complaint, Tiwari’s brother was also arrested by the suburban police. Ankit’s brother was arrested for constantly threatening the victim to take her case back from the court as told by police. The singer Ankit Tiwari has been charged under law section 376 for rape case, 493 for false promise of marriage and under law section 506 for the criminal intimidation as per Indian law penal code.
