Abhay Deol has not been seen of late since past few months and it was more than a year to see his film releasing in the media. So, after waiting for long, the actor has now come along with another film called Nanu Ki Jaanu. The film happens to be a horror comedy and it has Abhay Deol and Patralekha in the lead role. The film somewhere was able to tickle the funny bones of the B Town audience, however, was not able to collect the kind of buzz one can expect by the audience. All thanks to the poor reviews that have been posed by most of the audience in a way or the other.
Looking at the collection of the film at the box office, he seems to have a meager collection at the box office. The film opened up with the collection of around 75 lakhs on the first day and there was some amount of surge in the coming days to some extent. The second day collection at the box office on the second day went to around 1 crore, while on the third day it went on to get a collection of 1.5. So the first weekend box office collection for the film Nanu Ki Jaanu tolled to around 3.25 crore at the box office.
Though the movie deals with the different and the out-of-the-box story of the ghost falling seems in love with a crook. The story of the film deals with the unconventional love story, which is packaged with the strong writings and the impressive performances. The film deals with a different story of a ghost falling in love with a real estate goon, which is produced by Sajid Qureshi while it is very much a content driven movie but since it happens to be a horror driven comedies in the B Town. Though the movie has been getting a good appreciation by the leading filmmakers and actors like Rajkummar Rao since the lady Patralekha happens to be his alleges girlfriend hence was seen speaking good about the film and her performance.
