Urvashi Rautela takes a legal action against false reports about being harassed by Akhil Akkineni

Urvashi Rautela who is always in the news for various reasons has once again become the topic of discussion but this time it’s because of her legal stand. The actress has filed a case against a journalist for spreading fake news against her.

Journalist Umair Sandhu claimed on his Twitter handle that Akhil Akkineni had harassed Urvashi during the shooting of the song from upcoming spy thriller film Agent. The actress took to her social media to reveal that Umair has been given legal notice of defamation by her legal team for spreading such false news.

Urvashi took to her Instagram account and shared a post that read,  “Defamation legal notice has been served by my legal team. Definitely disgruntled by indecent journalist like you for your spurious/ ridiculous tweets. You’re not my official spokesperson. And yes you’re very immature kind of journalist who made me & my family extremely uncomfortable.”

The actress also got a lot of support on social media for taking a stand against fake reports. One user commented, “Reporters are nowadays spreading fake news for more reach and using others stardom as a stepping stone”

Another user wrote,”Yes it’s high time people learned laws and exercised it properly. Way to go @urvashirautela”

Urvashi will be seen doing a special song in the upcoming Telugu spy thriller ‘Agent’ which stars Akhil Akkineni in the lead. The film is helmed by Surender Reddy and written by Vakkantham Vamsi. It also stars Mammootty, Dino Morea, Sakshi Vaidya in pivotal roles. The telugu film will also release in Hindi, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam languages. Agent is scheduled for a theatrical release on April 28, 2023.
