Nishikant Dixit is an actor active in TV, web series and films. He hails from Ikari, Meerut, UP and was born on 13th Jan 1970. He was born in Meerut and brought up in Ghaziabad and later headed to Aurangabad for higher studies. His father used to work in a government department, while his mom is a homemaker. Since his chilhdood, he wanted to become an actor. During his visits to Ghaziabad, he used to participate in plays and got involved in such activities in A Bad as well. He completed his BE in Electronics Engineering from Marathwada Institute of Technology, Maharashtra, India.
He then headed to Mumbai to pursue his dreams to become an actor. With a bit of struggle, he got the chance to work in the film Deewaar in 2004 working as Capt. Ajit Verma. He then got the other movie the same year called Aan playing Sub Inspector Shinde. Since then it was no looking back for him. Some of his early movies include Raghu Romeo, Pyaar Mein Twist, Gafla, Jai Santoshi Maa, Big Brother, Apne, Laaga Chunari Mein Daag, Go, Jab We Met, Superstar, Ek: The Power of One and Wanted to name a few.
Some of his recent movies include Bheja Fry 2, Maximum, Rambo Rajkumar, Desi Katte, Kaagaz ke Fool, and Parmanu. He has also worked in TV shows including Maayke Se Bandhi Dor, Crime Patrol, Chintu Chinki Aur Ek Badi Si Love Story, Dil Se Di Dua… Saubhagyavati Bhava?, Udaan – Principal, Piya Rangrezz, Ishq Ka Rang Safed, Jaat Ki Jugni, and Ishq Subhan Allah. Talking about his debut in web series, it started with the show called Gandi Baat in season 4. Talking about his personal life, he is married to Anjana and the couple has one daughter – Aastha.
