Last Friday, it was a mid budget based films with one of them goes for the one called Guddu Rangeela. The film is directed by none other than the Jolly LLB director with Arshad Warsi, Amit Sadh and Aditi Rao Hydari in the pivotal roles. Though the movie had a bit of buzz in the media, thanks to the controversial song called Mata Ka Email Aaya Hai, yet it failed to the render the positive kind of response over the box office. Also, a majority of the critics have given the negative ratings and remark, which also came in its way.
As per reports, the film Guddu Rangeela was able to make meagre figure of 5 crores as the first weekend box office. On the other side, the films releasing the same day like Second Hand Husband and Bezumaan Ishq failed to get the right kind of response and thus was not seen coming in the way of Guddu Rangeela. However, for Guddu Rangeela, the film was able to secure a decent collection of on selling its satellite rights. Thus, the film in these terms seems to be surviving the battle. In a sense a film with a budget of around 16 crores, will just need a small amount to turn into a successful movie at the box office.
