Jamie Alter is an actor, author, and sportswriter. He was born and brought up in Mumbai and a son of late veteran actor Tom Alter, Padma Shri. He was born on 1st Jan 1970 in Mumbai. He did his schooling from Woodstock School, Mussoorie, India and later completed his graduation from Mumbai University in Mass Communication and English Literature. He started working as a sports writer and author and later headed to become a theatre actor working with theatre groups in Mumbai.
He also worked as a teacher and sports journalist before joining the bandwagon of acting since 2005, while covered multiple cricket World Cups. He started working in films with Ocean Of An Old Man released in 2008 followed by Life Ki Toh Lag Gayi in the year 2012 and later saw in the film Son of Flower in the same year. He loves to sketch and loves to post the same on social media since his teenage days.
He likes Playing and Watching Cricket and later traveling and sketching. Talking about his personal life, he is married to Meha Bhardwaj Alter working in CNN Reporter in the year 2012. The couple has a child. Talking about his next venture, he would be soon seen in the web series called Afsos. He also was seen in a short film To Remember Me By in the year 2019.
