Bhuj: The Pride Of India

Parineeti Chopra, who was to play a detective in Abhishek Dudhaiya’s ‘Bhuj: The Pride of India’, dropped out of the project due to a hectic schedule with Saina and an upcoming suspense thriller.

Now we have come to know that Nora Fatehi will be a part of this film of Bhushan Kumar, Ginni Khanuja, Wazir Singh and Kumar Mangat Pathak.

If media sources are to be believed, the makers unanimously agreed on Nora. She recently appeared on the board and started attending workshops for her role with the director, as well as paying attention to her character’s appearance as a detective. She will start shooting after 12 January in the 15-day final schedule of this war drama.

Speaking to the media earlier, Nora promised that after a series of special songs, she would try to be recognized as an actress on the big screen. After Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif-starrer film ‘Bharat’, Nora appeared in John Abraham’s ‘Batla House’ last year and is now gearing up for ‘Street Dancer 3D’ alongside Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor.

‘Bhuj: The Pride of India’ is set against the backdrop of the Indo-Pak war of 1971, in which Ajay Devgan’s character is revealed as Squadron Leader Vijay Karnik, who was in charge of the Bhuj air base, Who was active even after heavily bombed by Pakistan.

The director of the film, Abhishek Dudhaiya, shared Ajay’s first look from the film, surprising the audience as the new year on Twitter. He also revealed that the film will hit theaters on August 14 this year, a day before Independence Day.
