Varun Dhawan resumes Jug Jugg Jeeyo shoot after 8 months, started prepping up for a dance number

Varun Dhawan resumed shooting for his much talked about film, Jug Jugg Jeeyo. Ever since the film was announced it had faced some road blocks. The makers commenced filming last year with Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani, Neetu Kapoor and Anil Kapoor. However, due to the second wave of COVID-19 and the cast getting infected with the virus the film stalled for eight long months.

Now finally after 8 long months the actors have returned to the sets of the film. Varun Dhawan took to his social media profile and shared a series of pictures from his dressing room.

He captioned it, “Just some nervous moments before I step into the world of #jugjuggjeyo again…@raj_a_mehta @anilskapoor @neetu54 @kiaraaliaadvani @tiscaofficial @manieshpaul @mostlysane @dharmamovies”

According to the reports Varun has started rehearsing for a dance number for the film.

A source earlier quoted by ETimes, “After having wrapped ‘Bhediya’, Varun Dhawan has diverted all his attention to ‘Jug Jugg Jeeyo’. He has been prepping for this song since some time now and prefers to rehearse at a studio which is close to his home. Varun Dhawan will match steps with Anil Kapoor for this party song. They are expected to start shooting for this song by the end of August.”

Directed by Raj Mehta the film also stars Maniesh Paul and Prajakta Koli. The story of the film revolves around two couples from two different generations.

Meanwhile, Varun Dhawan recently wrapped his first ever horror comedy Bhediya. The film is directed by Amar Kaushik and produced by Dinesh Vijan. The film also stars Kriti Sanon and slated for theatrical release on 14 April 2022.
