Recently a source had informed that Diana Penty will be doing a lead role along with Shahid Kapoor in ing lady in Ali Abbas Zafar’s upcoming film. The source said, “Diana has a very strong role in the film, and was extremely happy to be a part of the project. Meanwhile, they have completed shooting for the film, and Ali has got busy with its post-production now,” informs a source in the know.
Earlier, the filmmaker had also announced his upcoming film with Shahid Kapoor on his social media account. “Action has always been one of my favourite genres and the thrill of making action movies on set is even a greater experience. Film Wrap, Thank you @shahidkapoor and entire team for making these last 6 months super fun,” Ali captioned the picture.
Meanwhile, recently Diana Penty joined the cast of Selfiee along with Nushrratt Bharuccha, Akshay Kumar and Emraan Hashmi. Announcing the same, its producer Karan Johar took his Instagram handle to announce the same. Karan shared a video in which Akshay, Emraan, Diana and Nushrratt held a file name Selfie and not just that the video also gave a glimpse of the title track of the film. While sharing the video Karan wrote, “Welcoming the two gorgeous and lovely ladies @nushrrattbharuccha & @dianapenty to the #Selfiee family! Sit tight, because this will be one hell of a ride!!❤️❤️”
Selfiee is an official remake of the Malayalam hit, Driving Licence fronted by Prithviraj with Suraj Venjarammoodu. Produced under the banners of Dharma Productions, it was also reported that Emraan Hashmi will be playing the parallel lead in this racy comic thriller.
