The controversy on O Saki Saki song is yet to settle down when the actress Koena Mitra called the remake song from Batla House as a big mess and we now hear that the lady is now behind the bars for six months. Wait the reason is not her objection to the film but something else. She was convinced by a local court on the issue of a cheque bounce case getting a six months imprisonment. Model Poonam Sethi has filed the complaint accusing her of not repaying the loan of 22 lakhs she got from her.
As per the latest reports, the actress has taken a loan of 22 lakhs from Sethi around one year back and has promised to return the next year. However, she gave the cheque of 2 lakhs to the model, it got bounced for no balance. This led the model to complain to the police about the fraud. this has happened way back in 2013 and the legal notice was given to her the very same year. When the actress did not respond to the notice, the model then filed a complaint in October 2013.
However, when the actress was asked about the case earlier, she simply denied the same calling the case to be a false one. However, during the final argument in the case, her lawyer was not able to present the proper proof and the decision was slapped on her without her presence and allowing her to give the chance to clarify and put her views on it. She then said that she would challenge the decision in the higher courts and her lawyer is in the process of appealing claimed the media reports.
