The Queen actress was born in Bhambla, which is a small town in Himachal Pradesh’s district of Mandi. Her parents aspired to see as a doctor but later she had some other plans for her career. It was not easy for her to tread the path of acting, which actually started with modeling.
She headed to Delhi without her family consent and entered into the field of modeling working for few years along with doing theatres and plays. She soon headed to Mumbai once she decided to enter into the field of acting and her debut in Bollywood films was interesting as she was spotted by one filmmaker when she was sitting in a coffee shop. Since then it was no looking back for the lady as she gave her power packed performances in films like Gangster, Woh Lamhe, LIfe In A Metro and Fashion to name a few.
