It was a busy Friday this week when we had a couple of films releasing, which certainly include the two sequels that happened to be much hyped ones. However, the others were some mid budget erotic films and other category movies. Well, let’s talk about the much hyped film Force 2 starring John Abraham and SonakshiSinha. The spy thriller had a good hype in the media, which were supposed to be get capitalized but it did to some extent.
Again the cash demonetization has to be made responsible for the same. The film commenced with a low occupancy in the morning shows, while it went on to boost up in the afternoon and in the evening shows for sure. As per reports, the 1st day box office report for Force 2 tolled to around 5 crores, which was not par to the expectations of the makers. Nevertheless, the film is likely to do better in the coming first weekend for sure.
Next comes the other sequel called Tum Bin 2, the film was certainly under the garb of Force 2 considering the high octane action in the film. Hence the occupancy in the morning was meager tolling to around 8 to 10 percent which went up though but failed to give the kind of collection, which it really was expecting as per the whims and fancies of the makers.
As per reports, the first day box office collection for Tum Bin 2 tolled to around 3 crores. The trade pundits are expecting to see a surge in the coming first weekend, yet it may not be again par to the expectations of the makers yet can be a better bet. Let’s see how things would move in the coming first weekend for these two movies. The other released barely could collect 0.70 crore.
