Pad Man 2nd Weekend Collection: Figures isn’t that impressive Needs A Jump!
The R Balki starring movie called Pad Man seem to be striking some right chords while choosing the right social issue at the box office. This has made the film as a winner among the audience who liked the film content and topic. The film helped to create an awareness among the people and it has managed to do well over the first weekend and the first week as well. However, as the film reached the second weekend, the film seemed to be moving in a slower pace. Though at one end the film managed to accomplish the goal first but on the other side the collection in the second weekend has been meager.
Talking about the collection of the film on the 2nd weekend the total collection went to around 7.5 crores and with that the collection has reached to 72.05 crore. The weekdays in the second week would be the same while it will take a long time for the film to enter into the 100 crore club. The fact is the film would perform the same fashion unlike any other B Town film of Akshay Kumar. Usually we see the films of Akshay Kumar earning around 70 to 80 crore over the box office when it comes to lifetime collection and hence Pad Man would be seen the same way.
This week, the collections would further reduce thanks to the advent of the film Aiyaary and Black Panther that released in the theatres. However, the slow start of this film with its mixed reviews has not fared well over the box office. This can give some amount of advantage to Pad Man to increase the box office collection in some way or the other. Also, some of the CMs including Rajasthan state Minister, Mrs. Vasundhra Raje has announced the film to go tax free, which can give another benefit to the film. Well, let’s see how things would move.
