This week, in the South Indian movie world, you have a Tamil movie releasing this today, which is known as Om Shanti Om. It is among the most awaited movies, since loads of pre-buzz was noticed in the media for the film. OSO is directed by Dr.Surya Prabhakar, while it is produced by Arumai Chandran under the banner of 8 Point Entertainment. The film has Srikanth and Neelam Upadhyaya in the lead roles, while the others in the supporting role include Baiju, Aadukalam Naren and Rajendran. The film’s music is given by Vijay Ebenezer, while the story has been jotted down by the director himself. Plot

And when he gets up, he realises, he is being surrounded by five different ghosts or spirits around trying to sort out their businesses, while soon you find this man played by Srikanth is seen in the role of a mediator who come forward to solve their issues. Review

Talking about the script, the film may have a slow start but soon when it picks up it ends up engaging the audience to the last. In terms of script and story, OSO seems very much different and pleases the audience with good drama, action and suspense along with other entertainment value, making the movie a perfect entertainer. The script has all the elements, which makes the film very much intriguing, the story telling style and various sequences really make a great difference.

Star Performances

Srikanth had meagre start in South Indian movie world, however, he progressed fast with his sheer hard work and soon was seen switching over to the main leads from several supporting role assignments. He has now become a regular face in Tamil and Telugu movies since past a couple of years. OSO is among the films wherein he has enacted the protagonist role the best. Though you may find him lagging behind in some ways, but he managed to finish the things in a good note. Similar is the story of Neelam Upadhyaya, who has skilfully played the character over the silver screen. Others in the supporting role too played their best part in the film.

Direction, Music, Screenplay and Editing

The direction of Dr.Surya Prabhakar has been always noticed to be mature and competent and Om Shanti Om is no exception. He has kept the concept unique and added something new and interesting for the audience in the film to explore and keep them tight seated over their seats. He was able to extract the best of the talents from the lead characters, which increased the entertainment value of the film in a big way. The music from Vijay Ebenexer remained very much mesmerising for the movie, his hard work and diligence was witnessed over the silver screen. Indeed, all applauds goes in the bag of the director who collected gems for this film. He was able ot add magic in the film. Similar is the story with other elements like editing, screenplay, locations and other technical things, which helped the film to enhance the value to a great extent.

Om Shanti Om – Last Word

The film has mass audience value in it, which has the potentials of pulling crowd far and wide. It is a typical family entertainer with a new concept away from the vulgar elements, which are often added to make films glamorous. Right from content, story, good presentation and nicely driven theme, the film goes intriguing for the audience. You can certainly enjoy watching this film.
