The film Maidaan starring Ajay Devgn has been in discussion ever since it was announced in the media. It is one of the first films by Ajay Devgn as far as biopic films are concerned. The film is based on the Golden years of Indian Football and talks about the life of a footballer Syed Abdul Rahim. This man has been known more for being a great coach rather than a player and has given the best time to Indian Football.
Now, as per reports, the film has got its release date as the film is all set to hit the screens on 27th November 2020. The film has the National Award winner Keerthy Suresh who would be opposite Ajay Devgn. The film has already hit the floor and is likely to complete by March 2020. As the movie has a lot many VFX effects, hence the makers are taking a whole lot of time to give the top quality.
The makers have roped in top VFC experts from Hollywood and they are coming for this purpose. The film has Ajay Devgn who is playing the legendary coach and he is also called the father of Indian football for his incredible achievements in making the country proud in Football during his lifetime. The film is produced by Zee Studios, while it has Boney Kapoor, Akash Chawla, and Arunava Joy Sengupta as producers and Maidaan is directed by Amit Ravindernath Sharma. The dialogues and screenplay are written by Saiwyn Quadros and Ritesh Shah respectively.
