Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff’s ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ POSTPONED To Eid 2024

Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff are set to come together and share screen for the first time in Ali Abbas Zafar’s action- entertainer ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’. The film, which was one of the most anticipated action films of the year, was set to hit theatres on Christmas 2023, but according to recent media sources, the makers have decided to push the release date to Eid 2024.

According to the most recent Pinkvilla media source, film’s producer Pooja Entertainment believes that Eid is the best release window for an action film like Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, hence they have decided to lock Eid 2024 as BMCM’s release date.

Although there has been no official confirmation from the film’s producers about the film’s postponement, if it is true, then action-entertainer will be director Ali Abbas Zafar’s third Eid release after Sultan (2016) and Bharat (2019), both of which starred Salman Khan in the lead.

This postponement of the film’s release date also means that Bade Miyan Chote Miyan will not face significant competition from any other major release on Eid 2024, as no other major release has yet been scheduled on Eid 2024. Previously, the film was slated to compete with Rajkumar Hirani’s Dunki, starring Shah Rukh Khan and Tapasee Pannu which is arriving in cinemas on Christmas 2023.

Meanwhile, ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ is a large-scale action film that was extensively shot on location in Europe and the UAE. The film, which is currently in it’s last leg of shoot and is scheduled to be completed in a week or two, also stars Malayalam actor Prithviraj Sukumaran as the major antagonist, with Sonakshi Sinha, Manushi Chhillar, and Ayala F as the female leads.

(2012’). On the other hand, Tiger Shroff will be next seen in Vikas Bahl’s sci-fi action thriller ‘Ganapath: Part 1’ which also stars Kriti Sanon as female lead. The film is scheduled to arrive in cinemas on 20 October 2023
