After the announcement of Amazon for its tie-up with Indians, its turn of its rival Netflix to have a deal with an Indian entertainment firm called Red Chillies Entertainment belonging to Shah Rukh Khan. This brings King Khan exclusively over the platform globally. As per the agreement between RCE and Netflix all the upcoming movies of Shah Rukh Khan would be available at this platform globally.
The agreement between the two would also give the Netflix members in India and abroad to have the access to all the RCE films on demand once the film hits the theatres. SRK is among the most sought actors in the world especially when we talk about the BTown films. He has played a vital role in making Indian Cinema popular all across the world. He has been a cultural icon to the world from B Town impressing one and all.
With this Red Chillies would become the global entertainment icon ahead of the first time and thus the stories from the production company would become global crossing all across the globe. The first film to come at the said platform would be Dear Zindagi that was released last month having SRK and Alia Bhatt in it. The other films include Om Shanti Om and Happy New Year. With this deal India would become a battlefield for both the companies like Amazon and Netflix.
Talking about Amazon will have the deals with Vishesh Films, Yash Raj Films, Excel Entertainment and Dharma Productions, while Netflix which is merely a year old company is able to sign a deal with companies like Phantom Films belonging to Anurag Kashyap while Red Chillies have become its official partner now.
