These home remedies that will help your skin look fabulous in winters

Winters are here and so are our skin problems. As much we love winter, we hate patchy dry skin during the season. The leading cause of dry skin is the changes in weather and temperature.
However, there are other seasons too including, excess usage of toners, chemical soaps, room heaters, blowers, etc.

Well, you don’t need to worry, take good care of your skin and follow these simple home remedies to keep your skin trouble-free.

1. Cinnamon and Honey Face Mask

Cinnamon and Honey Face Mask

This is the best Ayurvedic skin treatment where honey moisturizes the skin and cinnamon extracts dirt and improves capillary circulation.

Take 2 tablespoon honey and ½ teaspoon cinnamon powder. Mix them and apply them on your face with a soft brush.

Then keep it for 15-20 minutes, and remove it with a gentle massage. Continue this every 4-5 days to see good results.

2. Coconut Oil Massage

The dry skin is also a result of a lack of fatty acids in the skin. It is also the best source to replenish the lost fatty acids is coconut oil. Coconut oil is also in Ayurvedic hair treatment.

Take one 1 tablespoon virgin coconut oil, just wash your face thoroughly and massage it with oil for 5 minutes then leave it overnight. The oil will absorb into your skin and help make skin texture smooth and healthy.

3. Aloe Vera

Some skin specialist suggests applying aloe vera to eliminate many skin problems.
Filled with anti-inflammatory properties and improves collagen and elastin levels it helps your skin glow.
Take a fresh Aloe leaf to extract the gel from it. Apply a scoop of gel on the face at night, and leave it overnight. Continue it every day to see good results.

4. Glycerine

Glycerine may seem tacky but humectants and emollients present in glycerine do wonders to moisturize your skin. All you need is 1 teaspoon of glycerine. You can either apply on dry patches or the entire area, leave it for a few hours and wash it off afterward.

5. Milk Powder Face Pack

Milk contains healthy fats and amino acids and works as a good moisturizer. Take 2 teaspoons milk powder, a pinch of turmeric powder, and 1 teaspoon honey with some water. Mix them all and make a well-textured paste to apply to your dry skin. Let it dry naturally and rinse off afterward. Continue this process at least twice a week to treat dry skin patches.
