Shah Rukh Khan & Deepika Padukone to reunite for Atlee’s Jawan? Here’s what we know!

Shah Rukh Khan is keeping no stone unturned to make his comeback grand. The actor kicks off 2022 with Pathaan announcement on January 25 followed by Jawan on June 3 and Dunki over the Christmas holiday. All three films feature a formidable cast, and the stage is set for the King’s return. Now according to the reports, the action entertainer directed by Atlee Jawan will have a surprise for the fans.

According to the reports Deepika Padukone will show up briefly in this action-packed entertainer starring SRK, Nayanthara, Sanya Malhotra, Rana Daggubati, and Sunil Grover. “Deepika has been in talks with SRK and Atlee for a while now and she is poised to make a short yet important appearance in the film. She has agreed in principle though the paperwork still remains,” PinkVilla quoted a source. Jawan is produced by Red Chillies Entertainment.

Shah Rukh Khan was recently in Hyderabad with his director, and the source confirmed that SRK even met Deepika there. “Deepika was shooting for her ambitious film, Project K in Hyderabad. Shah Rukh Khan and Atlee met the actress and even discussed the dynamics of her character as also the shoot dates. Everything should be on paper in a fortnight.”

Apart from Deepika, there are rumours that another A-Lister (Male) will make a guest appearance in Jawan, however, there is no confirmation on his involvement as of now. Pathaan, which is set to be released on Republic Day, also stars Shah Rukh and Deepika.

Meanwhile, there are also reports that apart from Shah Rukh Khan’s film Deepika has a cameo in Ranbir Kapoor’s Brahmastra.
