Deepika Padukone rushed to hospital after she fell ill on the sets of Project K
Deepika Padukone was rushed to a private hospital while filming her upcoming film Project K in Hyderabad. According to the reports, the actress became ill after her heart rate increased, and she was immediately taken to the city’s Kamineni Hospital, where doctors examined her. Deepika returned to the sets to shoot with Amitabh Bachchan soon after her heart rate stabilized.
Project K is Deepika’s first collaboration with Prabhas. The film will also have Amitabh Bachchan in an important role. Amitabh Bachchan gave the muhurat shot of the much-awaited Prabhas-starrer earlier this year on Guru Purnima. Prabhas posted a photo from the set and dubbed Bachchan the “Guru of Indian Cinema.” “On this #GuruPurnima, it is an honour for me to Clap for the Guru of Indian cinema! … it now begins!! #ProjectK” he captioned the picture.
Director Nag Ashwin previously stated in a statement about the film, “I’m very excited to see Deepika play this character. It is something no mainstream lead has done before and will be quite a surprise for everyone. The pairing of Deepika and Prabhas will be one of the main highlights of the film and the story between them, I believe will be something audiences will carry in their hearts for years to come.”
Meanwhile, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh always give us couple goals, and their chemistry was on fire at Cannes. Previously, the actress shared a clip from her Cannes film festival diaries, in which she was having some fun with her crew. Deepika described how she was given a bird toy and was perplexed by the gesture in the video. Later, Deepika received a large chocolate bar from the festival team, which she happily shared with them.
Deepika brought Ranveer into the frame at the end of the video and referred to him as “my trophy.” Singh agreed, adding, “I’m the present for today.” If you look closely at the video, you’ll notice Singh standing in the room, cheering Deepika in the background.
