Bandra Teaser: Dileep is a stylish gangster in this slick gangster-thriller
The makers of Dileep’s upcoming gangster-thriller ‘Bandra’ have released a new teaser on the auspicious day of Eid and Akshaya Tritiya. And the one-and-a-half minute promotional trailer gives away the substance of the film and its fundamental tone without disclosing any major plot twists or turns.
The teaser presents Dileep as stylish mobster Alan Alexander Dominic’, who is the ‘hero’ of this story. The teaser begins with an old man telling a narrative about this ‘real hero’s love story. We quickly meet the ‘hero,’ who appears to be a local thug. But then he meets a lovely lady (Tamannaah Bhatia), and everything changes.
They quickly fall in love. But there is also a vicious businessman who will go to any length to get what he wants. The businessman’s role is played by Hindi actor Dino Morya, who is also making his Malayalam film debut with this film.
Although the teaser does not reveal much about the narrative of the film, it does convey the general tone of the picture. And it appears that the film is set in the 1990s, with some of the action taking place in Mumbai. The teaser shows Dileep in never-seen-before avatar in this stylish action-packed entertainer.
Bandra also stars Rajveer Ankur Singh, Indrajith Sukumaran, Arjun Ashokan, Amit Tiwari, Easwari Rao, and Kalabhavan Shajohn in pivotal roles.
Bandra marks Dileep’s return to the big screen after four years of hiatus. His last big screen appearance was in Malayalam-language action-thriller heist film Jack & Daniel (2019).

Vinayaka Ajith has produced the film under the banner of Ajith Vinayaka Films. Udaykrishna has penned the film’s screenplay and Arun Gopy is the director of the film.
Meanwhile, Dileep will also star in the untitled film “D148,” which will be directed by Ratheesh Reghunandan of “Udal” fame. In the film, he will co-star with Neetha Pillai and Kannada actress Pranitha Subhash.
