Salman Khan is all set to release Farhad Samjhi’s Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali in Diwali 2022
Salman Khan and Sajid Nadiadwala’s much talked about film’s title Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali has been changed and now the film will be called Bhaijaan. Salman will be seen playing the titular role in the film. The actor will play an unmarked brother of three siblings. According to the reports the Farhad Samji directorial will be a comedy drama.
“Salman Khan and Sajid Nadiadwala recently met to discuss the shooting schedule and release date of Bhaijaan and they have unanimously decided on making an attempt to bring it during the Diwali 2022 weekend. The duo is of the opinion that the script is loaded with comedy and family based emotions, making it an ideal watch for the audience during the festive season of Diwali,” a trade source was quoted by Bollywood Hungama as saying.
Salman will begin the shoot in November India after wrapping up his thriller Tiger 3. Presently Farhad is busy with Bachchan Pandey after which he will commence the preproduction of Bhaijaan.
“It’s an ambitious film for the team and the audience will be surprised with the larger context of the subject that the makers are touching upon,” the source further added.
If all goes as planned then this will be Salman’s Diwali release. Previously Salman had Sooraj Barjatya’s 2014 family drama, Prem Ratan Dhan Payo released in Diwali. “The shooting and release date is subject to Covid scenario,” the source also added.
As per the reports, Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali stars Pooja Hegde as the female lead and the project looks exciting.
