Raees is an upcoming movie of 2015 expected to hit somewhere close to Diwali. The movie is produced by the duo Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh SIdhwani. Earlier, it was decided to bring in Salman Khan along with Shah Rukh Khan to romance with Sonam Kapoor, however, the plan didn’t work, which brought in the Humsafar TV actress from Pakistan called Mahira Khan who really impressed with the character of Khirad in the said TV show back in her home country. The show at Zindagi opposite Fawad Khan was a big hit in India as well, which made the filmmakers to consider her for the said movie.
Story/Plot
The SRK & Mahira Khan starrer movie Raees is an action thriller drama, which has its base in Gujarat. Shah Rukh Khan will be playing the character of a bootlegger, whereas Farhan Akhtar is seen in the role of a cop in Raees. Farhan Akhtar would be sharing screen space with SRK the first time, though he has worked behind the cameras in the sequels of Don earlier. In this movie, Mahira would be playing the character of Shah Rukh Khan’s wife, while King Khan is playing the role of gangster based in Gujarat, whereas Farhan AKhtar plays the role of police officer who makes a trap of SRK in Mumbai.
