Saina Nehwal biopic starring Shraddha Kapoor to hit floors this September
As it was taking time for Saina Nehwal biopic film to hit the floor the rumor mills constantly was seen coming out with the news that the film is being shelved. Soon we saw Shraddha Kapoor who is doing the lead role in the film emerged at the microblogging site called Twitter to clear the air amidst the rumors. The Half Girlfriend actress rubbished the rumors and said that the film has been delayed and not being shelved. So, the fans who have been waiting for the actress to see in the firebrand badminton player biopic should sigh a relief now.
As per reports, the film is directed by Amole Gupte who also confirmed that the film would hit the floors in September, this year. He also confessed that he was annoyed for the spread of the incessant rumors that kept on moving around the film while he and his team were preparing for the shoot. He said that he is committed to see the film hitting the floor as it happens to be a prized project for him. He also confirmed that Shraddha had gone down to Hyderabad to get trained by none other than Saina’s mentor Pullela Gopichand in his badminton academy and has continued  the training in Mumbai as well.
The director informed that he has been working on this film and its script since past two years and thus calls the film to be vital one for his career. He now looks forward to start this film in September. He said that he has prolonged the film to September only to get the dates by the lead stars of the film. The director informed that he would be shooting both in real locations and studios so that he end up showcasing the life of Saina in the most authentic fashion. The shooting is to begin in September 2018 and that too in Hyderabad which is the hometown of Saina.
